Are you interculturally competent?

Reykjavik City is an intercultural society; knowing how prejudice can appear and how to respond to it is essential. What is the difference between inclusion and adjustment? How can I be inclusive both in my place of work and in my everyday life? With this crash course, participants will acquire the tools to build a better society.

Joanna Marcinkowska is a specialist at the Reykjavik City Human Rights and Democracy Office.

Among other things, Joanna is a specialist in equal rights affairs; she was born and raised in Poland and has lived in Iceland for 20 years. At Reykjavik City, Joanna works on interculturalism, inclusion, and diversity.

The seminar will occur from 11:30 to 12:15 and will be in Icelandic.
