Reykjavik Safari! and live music by Myrra Rós

Do you know where the museums and libraries, theatres, statues and the most interesting places are? What is free of charge? What's on during the weekends? What's available for children, families and grown-ups?

Thursday July 5th at 8 p.m. you are invited to take a guided walking tour of downtown Reykjavík where the cultural life in the city centre will be introduced with a bit of history mixed in.

You can choose between the five languages above. The walk takes about an hour, after which all five groups meet at the Reykjavík Art Museum in Tryggvagata for an intercultural get-together with live music by Myrra Rós and a light snack.

The walk takes off from Reykjavík City Library in Tryggvagata 15 at 8 p.m and is free of charge. The program will end at 10 pm. No booking is needed. Everybody is welcome!

Reykjavik Safari is a part of a weekly program of Evening Walking Tours on Thursdays during the summer hosted by Reykjavik City Library, The Reykjavik Art Museum, The Reykjavik City Museum, the Reykjavik Museum of Photography and Reykjavik UNESCO City of Literature. The program is a part of a weekly program of Evening Walking Tours on Thursdays during the summer.
