The autumn programme for Reykjavík Art Museum is out. Fifteen exhibitions will be on display until the end of the year, in addition to up to fifty events. The programme highlight for many is an exhibition of previously unknown drawings by post-modern Icelandic artist Erró, at the Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús.
World-renowned artist Erró might not be as well known for his drawings as for his paintings, but this exhibition presents around 200 of his works. The oldest are from 1944, the latest quite recent, and the artist has utilised a multitude of techniques and methods in creating them.
The exhibition is organised in a close cooperation with Erró and based on works from both the artist’s private collection and the collection of Reykjavík Art Museum.
