Various Events in the Center of Reykjavík on the  23rd of December, St. Thorlák’s Mass
The annual peace march will take place at Laugavegur, Reykjavík’s main shopping street on St Thorlák´s Mass. Walkers will gather at the Hlemmur bus terminal with lit torches at 17:45 and begin the walk from there at 18:00. 
 
Expect to see the Yule lads, their father and their mother Ogress, in the city center from 16:00 - 22:00. Choirs and adventurous characters will also sing and perform.  
 
The Christmas Creatures of Reykjavík City will be present on houses in the city center throughout December. You can also find the creatures at the Reykjavík Art Museum, Hafnarhús, Kjarvalsstaðir and City Hall.
 
You can also head to Ingólfstorg square to the great ice-skating rink, decorated with beautiful lights. A Christmas village is located next to the rink where you can shop and indulge in hot chocolate and traditional gingerbread biscuits.
