This colourful event brings tens of thousands of people into the city centre every year to show solidarity and have fun with the gay community in Reykjavik.
This cozy little pride has blossomed over the last fourteen years and evolved into one of the most popular events in Reykjavík. It is now a colourful six day celebration attracting well over 80 thousand guests from all over the world. This year the programme runs from 7 -12 August, combining a colourful array of Icelandic artists and events.
Gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender people, friends, relatives, a fast growing number of tourists, and the general public all come together to celebrate and support human rights for all.
