Lunchtime jazz 2018 starts with Stína Ágústsdóttir performing jazz songs by performers like Cannonball Adderley, Duke Ellington, Wynton Kelly, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and Wardell Gray. New texts in Icelandic will accompany these songs and those versions thus probably performed for the first time in Iceland. In 2007, Stína released her first solo album, Stina August, which was recorded at the Toronto Canterbury Music studio where some of Canada's leading jazz musicians collaborated. Stína’s second solo album, Concrete World, was released in Iceland in 2010.
