The Marshall House, new center for visual art in Reykjavík

The Marshall House will open on Saturday 18 March at 2 pm with the exhibition Bad Company. The house  is a new center for visual art in Reykjavík, where Kling & Bang, The Living Art Museum and Studio Ólafur Elíasson will reside. Kling & Bang is an artist run exhibition platform, established in 2003. The aim of Kling & Bang is to introduce emerging and established, national and international artists, that challenge the context and content of creative thinking.

The artists work across mediums and the show will include new performances, paintings, sculptures and video works. Exhibiting artists: Árni Jónsson, Ásgerður Birna Björnsdóttir, Berglind Erna Tryggvadóttir & Rúnar Örn Marinósson, Hrefna Hörn Leifsdóttir & Sarah Rosengarten, Leifur Ýmir Eyjólfsson and Melanie Ubaldo.
