Our Annual Food & Fun Festival is Just Around the Corner
With extraordinary culinary talent, a selection of quality Icelandic ingredients and countless adventures to experience Reykjavík, the Food and Fun festival mixes a variety of exciting elements to create the ultimate recipe for fun.
A key feature of the festival involves world-acclaimed and upcoming chefs from Europe and the U.S. collaborating with Reykjavík’s finest restaurants. A chef competition takes part on the final day of the festival where participants are tasked with designing three courses, using only Icelandic ingredients.
Celebrity chef judges are invited to rate all the food and three chefs are chosen as finalists to compete for the title of Food and Fun Chef of the Year. A number of foreign reporters have attended the festival and their attendance increases each year.
The final competition will be at Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Center on Saturday, 5 March between 12:00 and 15:00. The festival runs from 2 March until 6 March.
