Reykjavík Food Festival

The Reykjavík food festival will be held tomorrow 13 August 2016 in downtown Reykjavík. The food festival is a celebration of Icelandic cuisine where chefs and barbecue masters will cook food from Icelandic farmers. The event starts at 14:00 at Skólavörðustígur High Street (the road in front of the big church, Hallgrímkskirkja). There will be live music, entertainers and more, that will make the festival a feast for the eyes and ears, and of course the taste buds!

 

Food tickets are sold at the festival, each ticket costs 350 isk. and is valid for one dish. Three tickets cost 1.000 kr. and tickets for a drink costs 100 kr. A portion of the proceeds from the Reykjavík Food Festival goes to support local charities.
