In the exhibition At Home in the Design Museum over 200 examples of Icelandic design dating from 1930 to the present date have been put on display.
The exhibition is arranged over a floor plan of a home where various objects from different eras come together side by side as is common in homes. Furniture, fashion, textiles, graphic design, product design and ceramics show a small spectrum of what Icelandic designers have created over the past 100 years.
Sigríður Sigurjónsdóttir, director of the museum, leads the tour.
