Andri Snær Magnason is a three-time recipient of the Icelandic Literary Prize and is now publishing his first work of fiction in several years, the novella Jötunsteinn. Dagur Hjartarson has received both the Tómas Guðmundsson Literature Award and the Jón úr Vör Poetry Prize for his poetry collections and now presents his fifth novel, Frumbyrjur. Fríða Ísberg’s second novel, Huldukonan, will be released before Christmas; her previous book, Merking, was a breakthrough success that earned her the Per Olov Enquist Literary Prize, awarded to young and promising European authors. Lilja Sigurðardóttir has twice won the Icelandic Crime Fiction Award, Blóðdropinn, as well as Gríman for her play Stóru börnin. With her latest novel, Alfa, she turns her gaze toward the future.
Everyone is welcome but the readings will be in Icelandic.
