The Next Generation concert series at LÓA Restaurant

Every Friday night´s in May LÓA Restaurant hosts live shows from Reykjavik’s most promising young bands. It’s an intimate venue with a big heart for new talent—and a key part of the city’s grassroots music scene.

The Next Generation concert series features artists from Center Studios – Reykjavik, a creative hub closely connected to Iceland’s top music schools. There, young musicians—many still in their teens—form bands, write original music, and grow together. It’s a space where they develop their individuality, their sound, and their confidence on stage.

From Björk to Laufey, Iceland’s global music stars often begin in places just like this.

An incredibly talented group of six young musicians — all just 14 years old — performing a mix of popular covers and their own original songs. Many of the band members are already well-known actors, having appeared in various plays and TV productions in Iceland.
