Perlan Museum

Perlan houses a modern nature exhibition, a real indoor ice cave, a 4K planetarium, a 360° viewing platform, an ice cream shop, a lovely café, bouncy castles with fun trials, and more. There is something for everyone to do and enjoy in any weather condition. 
Perlan resembles a pearl sitting on top of Reykjavík. It is surrounded by the charming woodland of Öskjuhlíð hill, with 360° views all over the capital area.

Seltjarnarneslaug pool

The swimming pool in Seltjarnarnes in an outdoor pool that is 25 meter long and the temperature is 29°C. There is also a childrens pool that is 35°C warm and another that is 30 cm deep and 37 – 38°C warm. The swimming pool has 4 hot tubs. There are four dressing rooms, two inside and tow outside. In the area is also a water slide. The water in the pool is very mineral rich and therefor the pool is popular with those that have exema as the water is supposed to be better for the skin.

Aurora Guesthouse

Aurora guesthouse is a family owned guesthouse in Reykjavik that offers bed and breakfast. We offer budget accommodation in a quiet street in the centre of Reykjavik at Freyjugata 24. The guesthouse is located in a home looking house with a soul in Reykjavik center. Situated in the old part of Reykjavik city center, Thingholt neighborhood, Guesthouse Aurora is only 1-2 min. walking distance from the highest building in Iceland the wonderful church , Hallgrímskirkja in the heart of Reykjavík.

Skautahöllin ice skating rink

The Reykjavik Sports Alliance manages the ice skating rink in Laugardalur according to an agreement with the city authorities. The skating rink is a huge structure, measuring 3,700 square meters in size, of which 1,800 square meters are cool. The skating rink seats up to 1,000 people. Great emphasis has always been placed on the public having easy access to the palace, but also the Skautafélag Reykjavíkur has its exercises and competition facilities in the building.

The ice skating rink is temporarily closed due to Covid 19. It will open again in september 2020.

Brynja Ice cream

Brynja is one of the oldest and most popular Ice cream shops in Iceland. Brynja is famous for using natural ingredients and for having some vegan options. Located at Adalstraeti 3 Akureyri and in Engihjalli, Kopavogur

Tapas Bar

The Tapas Bar was founded in 2000 and has ever since fascinated locals and tourists with an enjoyable environment. We offer a range of Spanish food, with an Icelandic twist. Sundhöll Reykjavíkur pool

Reykjavík Sundhöll has two pools, an indoor and an outdoor pool. There is good access for people in wheelchairs to get into the pool. There is also wheelchair access to the hot tub and sauna.

At Sundhöllin you'll find hot tubs, a diving board, a wading pool, a cold tub and a sauna. There are also outdoor cabins.

Play equipment

There are two diving boards in the indoor pool, the lower one is 1.0 m from the water's surface and the higher one is 2.75 m from the water's surface. Indoor pool: 25m x 10m, 4 lanes, 9m – 4m deep. The temperature is 28°C

Apotek Hotel

Apotek Hotel is a stylish boutique hotel located in the very heart of Reykjavik´s most prestigious shopping, entertainment and cultural district. The historical building formerly housed the pharmacy Reykjavikur Apotek and is widely considered to be one of the most remarkable buildings in Reykjavik. Guðjón Samúelsson, former State Architect of Iceland, designed the building in 1917.
