In Árbæjarlaug pool is a 25m outdoor pool, hot tubs, water slides, kiddie water slides, kiddie pool, massage tub, cold tub, indoor pool, wading pool, beach volleyball, outdoor dressing rooms, private dressing rooms and accessibility for disabled in the pool. At the service desk, we have refreshments for sale, swimwear for sale and free wifi. The Whales of Iceland Exhibition consists of 23 man-made life-size models of the various whale species found in Icelandic waters throughout its natural history. A 25 m. (82 ft.) long blue whale, a full-size sperm whale, the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale and many more! See them all in their actual size! Much work was done on the models and all models are hand-painted. Each whale was modelled after a real whale in the ocean and featured their personal markings and characteristics. The models are also soft, squishy and fun to touch.
